Cancellation Policy
We offer flexible cancellations for all reservations made on upstay.com
- 0-4 bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 5 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
- 5-8 bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 7 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
- 9+ bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 14 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
For longer stays (up to 30 days) or monthly leases, we require at least 30 days notice to cancel or modify without fees.
Booking On Other Sites
Booking directly with us offers more flexible cancellation policies compared to other sites. Always double-check the cancellation policy before booking elsewhere, and consider booking with us directly for the best price on your rental.
Booking Deposit
50% of the total cost of the reservation is due at the time of booking, the other 50% must be paid once the cancellation policy kicks in.

Beautiful apartment - better than we had hoped for! Booked this for 4 of us to celebrate a special birthday and the week was unforgettable. We loved our stay at Casa McCaul. The apartment is huge and fits at least 5 people very comfortably. It was well suited for our multi-generational family and would also fit a friend group traveling together. It was very clean and surprisingly quiet even though it's literally downtown. Lots of room for us to spread out, have restful sleep and, if we wanted to, could cook in the fully stocked kitchen. The location speaks for itself and the rate was an exceptional value (I doubt it'll ever be at that rate again!). But what really made our stay special is Shameza. Wow. What a host! The communication was nearly instantaneous and spot on. We asked for early check in and it was granted, then asked for late checkout and it was granted. The internet went down and within an hour, Shameza dispatched maintenance to get it repaired and maintained contact throughout. My girlfriends and I stayed at Casa Hotel McCaul for 1 night to celebrate a birthday. We are 5 and we had plenty of room to spread out and make ourselves at home! Shameza was an absolute gem, communicating proactively and accommodating our request to drop our bags hours before check in. We had an easy walk to the Royal Alex for a matinee and then walked home from Little Italy after dinner -- the location was awesome. The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious, as were both washrooms (full washrooms). We stayed up until after midnight at the large dining table, playing cards and streaming our favourite tunes on the TV. They had many amenities: Kitchen is fully stocked Dishwasher with soap Coffee maker Snacks & bottles of water provided Large fridge with brita filter Central air (heat) Back patio Nice towels & extra sheets, blankets, & pillows Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel Hair dryers & iron Washer and dryer with soap TVs in 2 bedrooms plus living room w/ a Netflix account Coat hooks and shoe racks Keyless entry so we didn’t have to share a key Closet space and hangers They also provided sleep masks and ear plugs - which I ended up using. Rooms can be a bit bright. It isn’t the most quiet building in the mornings and we had some street noise, and fire alarm testing. And no water for an hour one morning, but the hosts were in constant communication and solved our issues. Very walkable location and lots of restaurants and even a Krispy Kreme and Jimmy’s Coffee next door. They obviously care about the people that they are hosting. Very responsive. Perfect location to where ever you want to go. I’m from NY so 12 minute walk is easy and way better than waiting in traffic. Kensington market is couple of blocks away. Good if you want to try different foods or you can walk down town. We feel extremely grateful to have found this beautiful Airbnb in downtown Toronto! My family came from overseas to attend our wedding, and they couldn’t be happier with our choice. Private, close to the AGO and U of T, with a spectacular view directly facing the CN Tower, and a spotless, shining space! We don’t think there’s a better place to stay in the heart of Toronto. We recently stayed at this Airbnb during our family’s first trip to Toronto and had a great experience. The space was exactly as pictured—clean, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The beds were comfortable, and the layout suited our needs perfectly. As a family, we especially appreciated the open living area. Between the dining table and the cozy couch, we had more than enough room to relax together after a full day of exploring. The location was central and made it easy to get around the city. The hosts provided detailed and helpful parking information, which made our arrival and daily outings stress-free. It was clear that a lot of care went into setting up the space to make guests feel welcome. We also really enjoyed the back deck—my father-in-law found it to be a peaceful retreat for his morning meditations. One thing we especially appreciated was how well-stocked the home was. This place was accommodating for my family of 5- my girls could have the twin beds and my son his own room plus the master. There was more noise than expected (just louder traffic and people out late at night- nothing the hosts can do about that). Sound machines helped my kids sleep. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. It’s pretty centrally located to several tourist attractions (ROM, Yorkville, CN Tower) and close to Chinatown and lots of good eats very walkable. I stayed here with three other guests and we had a wonderful time. The location is great with cute little shops and restaurants just around the corner and even more stuff to experience within 10-20 mins walking. There are currently renovations being done to the building and we did have a bit of an issue with construction noise on our first morning at the Airbnb but our host was super communicative and handled everything very professionally. What a gem! My family of 5 plus my mother-in-law enjoyed a very comfortable stay at Nat and Pete's place. The place was spotless and tastefully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. We only stayed one-night so opted to enjoy dinner out at the open-air pub on the corner - food was delicious! Communication was professional and prompt; they were proactive about possible construction noise (we had to check out early, so it did not bother us at all). When you arrive at their place, you can immediately tell whether it’s well taken care of and Nat & Pete’s place definitely is. It’s one of those great spots that’s clean, well-organized, and clearly shows the effort they’ve put into it. The location is amazing. Every time you head there, you can see a view of the CN Tower. Each room has a TV, and the kitchen is fully stocked with spices, plenty of dishes, and utensils. There are enough pots and pans, though they’re more like camping-style cookware (they come with pot clips instead of regular handles.) There was a minor issue during our stay, but they handled it really well. Things can happen whether you're a guest or a host, but how the issue is handled makes all the difference. In that sense, I’d say they’re excellent hosts—responsive, communicative, and proactive rather than avoidant. We would love to stay at Nat&Pete’s place again!Anonymous - Posted: 5/8/2025

A great place to stay in Toronto. It's close to a lot of great restaurants and shops and just a short walk to the subway. We had some trouble with the Wi-Fi not working but we were able to use the Wi-Fi from a shop next door. This place is amazing - fantastic “concierge like” support through Shameza, well decorated spot, squeaky clean bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms. The best part was the comfortable beds. This was exactly what we were looking for. The building does have stairs that may make it difficult for someone with mobility issues but that wasn’t a problem for us. They also had some construction going on while we were there (during the day) but Shameza gave us the heads up and we barely heard anything. Very comfortable apartment in a centrally located neighborhood. Hosts were very helpful, friendly, and responsive. Everything was great super clean awesome location, however just an fyi the walls are thin and there is a bright fire exit light in one of the rooms.
