Cancellation Policy
We offer flexible cancellations for all reservations made on upstay.com
- 0-4 bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 5 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
- 5-8 bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 7 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
- 9+ bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 14 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
For longer stays (up to 30 days) or monthly leases, we require at least 30 days notice to cancel or modify without fees.
Booking On Other Sites
Booking directly with us offers more flexible cancellation policies compared to other sites. Always double-check the cancellation policy before booking elsewhere, and consider booking with us directly for the best price on your rental.
Booking Deposit
50% of the total cost of the reservation is due at the time of booking, the other 50% must be paid once the cancellation policy kicks in.

Charlie was an excellent host and I really enjoyed my stay at this location. The apartment was exactly as advertised and check in was very easy. We were only visiting for a couple of days with my mom and our dog. Charlie is a great host, very responsive and accommodating. It was very cold at first (December), but we asked and very soon the apartment was more heated. It's a nice cozy place, perfect for a few days getaway with your pet. I love this place! It's close to my family, there's so many great restaurants around, everything is close and I felt safe staying at a place in downtown. Easy to access, instructions are crystal clear and the host is friendly and very responsive. The only thing to take note of is to bring your own toilet! Great location close to everything. there are lots of restaurants and shops near by. The stores close a little early so if you need something little like milk or bread, make sure you get it before 6 pm. The restaurants stay open later. The place was very clean and had all the amenities needed. The only minor issue is that the thermostat is controlled by the host and it was cold but I like it cold so I didn't contact them to ask to change the temperature. We had a wonderful stay that allowed us to fully enjoy Ottawa’s vibrant and eclectic Chinatown neighborhood. The area is full of character—beautiful murals, amazing food options from all over the world, and just a few blocks from great spots for coffee and cocktails. La climatisation fonctionnait en permanence, ce qui rendait l'air un peu sec, mais au moins, il ne faisait pas trop chaud! Charlie répond très rapidement et est très instructif. Dans l'ensemble, un très bon séjour en plein cœur du quartier chinois et à quelques pas de la Petite Italie.
