There is an adjoining kitchen with a full sized fridge/freeze combo, an oven with stove-top cooking element, a microwave and a deep sink. Featuring new stainless steel appliances, you'll have everything you need to cook great meals during your stay. Or, if you're feeling more adventurous, try any of the fantastic restaurants within walking distance. The Odds Bar next door is open for brunch, and has daily events like trivia night, karaoke, and shows Sunday football games. Or, across the street you've got One Duke's Tavern, an oyster bar that also features pasta and pizza.
In fact, you'll be walking distance from lots of restaurants, shopping, parks and entertainment. Family-friendly free community events are often held at Durand park such as outdoor movie screenings, farmer's markets and seasonal kids activities. Whitehern Historic House and Garden, built shortly before 1850, is a Late Classical house that is now a historic house museum that offers costumed guided tours.
