Cancellation Policy
We offer flexible cancellations for all reservations made on upstay.com
- 0-4 bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 5 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
- 5-8 bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 7 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
- 9+ bedroom properties - Free cancellation until 14 days prior to arrival (4pm eastern time)
For longer stays (up to 30 days) or monthly leases, we require at least 30 days notice to cancel or modify without fees.
Booking On Other Sites
Booking directly with us offers more flexible cancellation policies compared to other sites. Always double-check the cancellation policy before booking elsewhere, and consider booking with us directly for the best price on your rental.
Booking Deposit
50% of the total cost of the reservation is due at the time of booking, the other 50% must be paid once the cancellation policy kicks in.

Thanks for a great weekend, great location, the space was clean and private. Close to restaurants and shopping but quiet at night. It was a basement unit and I might not have booked had I known, my partner is quite tall so we’re pretty careful about basements but it was surprisingly high ceilings for a basement! I had a really nice stay here! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The location off James is fantastic, close to great cafés, shops, and everything you’d want to explore in the area. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. It’s a basement unit, as mentioned in the listing, so you can occasionally hear a bit of noise from upstairs, but it didn’t take away from an overall comfortable and pleasant stay. George’s Place is truly what I like to call a “Hidden Gem”, the exterior does not reflect the apartment inside. It’s so beautiful it was clean and spacious enough for 2 people to move around functionally. The location is perfect for those who like to take walks and explore. On short notice, I needed a place to stay and George’s spot provided exactly what I needed. The apartment was spotless, aside from some confusion on the lockbox code, everything went according to plan. Even though we didn’t end up staying at George’s accommodation, he went above and beyond to help us. We had to cancel our booking at the last minute, well beyond the cancellation deadline. Despite this, George worked with us to secure a partial refund, which we greatly appreciated. George was kind and willing to assist. Comfortable and Good place in core downtown to rent. I am sure once the construction is finished, the entrance to the building would look more appealing. However, it definitely feels welcoming once you are in your unit. No complaints but would be much better if i would have a choice to select a non basement unit.
