This bungalow is loaded with games and backyard fun! It's a fully self contained 1-bedroom home, with a spacious, partly shaded backyard, and can host up to 2 guests at a time.

You'll love the fully fenced in backyard. Featuring a rustic fire-pit with cool woodsy seating, you'll get all those fun camping vibes without having to sleep on the ground! There's also a BBQ grill out there, and a shaded outdoor dining area. Plus, there's plenty of space to soak up that Texas sunshine!

Moving inside, you'll find an open concept living room and kitchen space, plus a separate King sized bedroom and bathroom. The living room is stocked with board games and card games, plus there's a smart TV for your entertainment. The kitchen table can double as a laptop-friendly workspace, and the home is wired with high speed internet service.

The kitchen has cool accent lighting, and there's new high end appliances. There's a new stainless steel full-sized freezer/fridge combo, an oven with a stove top cooking element, and a microwave. There's all the small appliances you'd expect, like a coffee maker and toaster, and everything you need to serve up a home cooked meal.

The King sized bedroom has comfortable plush bedding and a reach-in closet. There's also a flat-screen wall-mounted TV, so you can catch up on your fav shows before bed. The bathroom has a large standing shower and marble tiles. You'll even have your own laundry machines and free onsite parking.

Options for a Friday night in East Austin are limitless, and any person on any budget can have a great time. It is home to an excellent strip of bars and music venues that line East 6th, 7th, and 12th Streets, and an eclectic mix of restaurants are also available in that same area. Food courts with trucks and taco stands are abundant on East Cesar Chavez and along Chicon Street, where one can get anything from chicken and waffles to carne guisada without hurting your wallet. Many of the bars also offer great food and drink specials for anyone on a budget.

Shopping choices are enormous, with thrift and vintage stores at prices that can't be beat as well as locally owned boutiques. Music and art shows are a weekly fixture, but this area also hosts special events like the East Side Art Crawl, Punk Rock Market, free and barter events, and film specials at locally owned theaters. Simply people watching while sipping a coffee, bubble tea, or organic beverage from one of the area's many shops or stands is an activity anyone can enjoy.

The folks at UrbanStay kept in touch with us in case we had any issues or needed anything throughout the stay. The home itself was very comfortable and cozy, similar to a tiny home, but a little more spacious. The couch in the living room was very comfortable and there were games available to use. The internet went out here and there when we were streaming a movie on the TV, but it wasn’t a big deal. The kitchen itself was very clean and had dishes and utensils available for use. The bathroom was very clean and the shower and sink had amazing water pressure! The mirror in the bathroom was super fancy and had an adjustable light, great lighting for putting makeup on. The bed was a king size and both the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bed was not too soft nor firm. Outdoors there is a lot of sitting, and beautiful tarps/canopies provided a lot of shade and let a good amount of light through. The home is surrounded by a wooden fence and gate which felt very safe. Lovely!!

Fantastic little spot, perfect for a couple or solo traveler! Super cozy and cute, but with plenty of room and everything you could need. Entry is from the alley in a quiet and safe feeling neighborhood. Easy 15-20 min walk to all the bars/restaurants, but also a few cute spots closer by. Highly recommend!

Cute and cozy space with AC, dedicated parking spot, and big tvs! The neighborhood wasn’t as walkable as we hoped, but it’s super close to lots of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. The house is older and worn on the outside while the inside is renovated for a modern feel. Overall a decent spot for the price point.

Next time we’re in Austin we will definitely stay at this place again. It was centralized to everything we intended to do…15 min drive or less (mostly less). Very comfy bed and bedding. Very comfy couch. Has everything you need if you want to make a meal at the house (full size fridge, pots, pans, plates, cups, utensils, oil, salt, pepper, etc). Secure parking, clear instructions on where to park once you start the check-in process. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor area because Austin heat/humidity was a little much for us but there a nice outdoor hang out area.

It is a tiny house in a quite neighborhood in East Austin—but just 15 minutes walking distance to downtown Austin. In the garden, there is a fireplace and a barbecue, which is really nice in the evenings.

Cute and clean place. A little difficult to navigate to as the entrance is actually through the alley and not main street. When we arrived the house was very hot and thermostat had been set in the 90's, but host was very responsive and we were able to resolve it quickly. Well stocked and furnished and a short drive to downtown Austin.

This is a great stay if you want your own space and the convenience of location! It’s close to east side bars and a short drive to anything else popular. I would recommend this stay for anyone visiting Austin. Our critique is that the “fire pit” should be relocated and this yard is just begging for a hot tub!

Clean, cute, and cozy location. The kitchen had enough to cook a few real meals during our week-long trip. The only very minor inconvenience was when the internet went down one night, customer service on the app tried to fix it as late as 11pm, but had to fix it the next day. I think it was just a router reboot thing and they were responsive and fixed the issue as soon as they could. Great option for a couple or single person.

We had a great stay! Easy check in process and clear instructions that also helped in finding the place. Having a secure place for the car was so nice!! The place was cozy and comfortable and the bed was soooo comfortable! Clean and thoughtfully stocked on some essentials like coffee, shampoo, toiletries which was great. Quiet neighborhood area that is also just a minute or two drive from all the action - best of both worlds! Also a nice patio area for just sitting outside in nice weather as well! Would absolutely stay again next time I'm in town!

Great space in East Austin. Super cute and comfy for one or two. Open space clean lines. Washing Machine in the back of the house, Great use of space. The only drawback was they had no IRON…. If your coming to Austin on business that’s a hard move. Thank goodness I have two outfits that could be wrinkle free dried in the dryer. Other than that it was pretty perfect.

The bungalow was everything I needed. The check-in process was a breeze. The space was very clean. But its best attribute was its location. Everything is so close - East Austin, downtown, SoCo, Lady Bird. I would definitely stay there again!

Exactly as described and pictured! We loved it. Even for being so close to downtown, it was a quiet and relaxing weekend. Everything was spotless and the decor was awesome. Definitely had a very homey vibe, and we plan on staying again once the weather is cooler.
